PRAYER POINTS
Last evening the Elders met for several
hours to pray for the body and seek wisdom as they strive to lead and shepherd
the body at Big Woods according to the Word of God. Some of
the pressing needs and prayer points that they are asking for you to pray
alongside them can be found here.
OUTDOOR SERVICES
Due to the Big Woods body being blessed with young families and
little ones each of us also has a responsibility for their safety. We
want to especially encourage drivers to be cautious and careful during our
summer services to ensure the safety of everyone, especially our
children. Please follow the directions of the deacons when pulling in for
our services. Please be aware of surroundings when leaving the service
and use extreme caution when backing up your vehicle.
WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
Our
next Women’s Prayer Meeting will be tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. here at the church. Come and be encouraged through testimonies, scripture, and
praying together.
AREA-WIDE OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE
Join us this Sunday for an Area-wide Outdoor Worship Service here at Big Woods starting at 6:00 p.m. This service is a combined worship service with First Baptist Church, First Church of Christ, Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church, and Common Place Church. Bring your lawn chair and come ready to be blessed. Ice-cream and coffee will be served!
FREE MOVIE NIGHT
The
movie I Still Believe will be shown August 13 at 8:30 p.m. on the church
grounds. Snacks will be provided. Bring your own chairs/blankets.
4 DAY CLUB FOR
CHILDREN
There
will be a 4-day club for children here at Big Woods August 16-19 from 1:00-2:30
p.m. Free fun for kids ages 5-13 that will include Bible lessons, songs,
games and snacks! Parents are welcome. There are extra flyers and sign up sheets in the church welcome area. For more information, please

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
There
will be a large outreach presentation in December called Big Woods Christmas
Worship in the Woods. Right now, we are
looking for 4-6 families that would be willing to commit to a total of 10 hours
