“Gathered Together – Why Corporate Worship Matters”

OUTDOOR SERVICESOur Sunday services have moved outdoors. Bring your chairs, canopies, and Bibles as we enjoy gathering together in worship and fellowship. Due to the Big Woods body being blessed with young families and little ones each of us also has a responsibility for their safety. We want to especially encourage drivers to be cautious and careful during our summer services to ensure the safety of everyone, especially our children. Please follow the directions of the deacons when pulling in for our services. Please be aware of surroundings when leaving the service and use extreme caution when backing up your vehicle.
SUMMER FUN CHURCH EVENT — Kayaking and BBQ PicnicFor those kayaking, please meet at the Brady’s (1824 Dutch Hollow Road, Jersey Shore) between 2:00-2:30 p.m. The group will load up and head to the McCormick’s at 2:30 p.m. to put into the water. Float will be 2.5-3 hours. Remember your life jacket, sunscreen and a ball cap/hat. If anyone has kayaks or extra kayaks to share and needs them transported, please contact Yuri Rosypal at 570-419-8460. If you are NOT kayaking you are welcome at the Brady’s to hangout, visit, and swim (ADULT SUPERVISION IMPERATIVE! – bring your own towels, floaties, and goggles) while the group kayaks. Feel free to bring yard games too!
Picnic will start at 5:00 p.m. – everyone is encouraged to come! Please bring lawn chairs, a side dish or dessert, a cooler to keep your food chilled, and your own serving utensils. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided as well as bottled water.
IF there are thunderstorms that day, kayaking will be cancelled but we will still gather together to fellowship, swim, and grill at the Brady’s at 5:00 p.m.

Driving Directions: From Lock Haven, cross the Veterans Bridge on Jay Street. At end of bridge turn left. Drive 1/2 mile to the end of Riverview Park and turn left into the park. Follow the road to Lot 11.
