MASK UPDATE Moving forward at our events and gatherings, Big Woods will encourage individuals to use their own wisdom and to consider state and federal guidance in regards to the wearing of masks.  We encourage everyone to be respectful and loving to one another, even in the midst of differences.

SERVICES MOVING OUTDOORS Mark your calendars, our Sunday services will be moving outdoors this Sunday.  Bring your chairs, canopies, and Bibles as we enjoy gathering together in worship and fellowship. Due to the Big Woods body being blessed with young families and little ones each of us also has a responsibility for their safety.  We want to especially encourage drivers to be cautious and careful during our summer services to ensure the safety of everyone, especially our children.  Please follow the directions of the deacons when pulling in for our services.  Please be aware of surroundings when leaving the service and use extreme caution when backing up your vehicle.

BABY BOTTLE BLESSINGS We’ll be participating in the 2021 Baby Bottle Blessings fundraiser for the Pregnancy Resource Clinic in State College.  All you’ll need to do is pick up a bottle this Sunday and fill it with change, dollars, or even a check made to Pregnancy Resource Clinic.  Bottles can be found on the back desk in the auditorium.  All funds go to help support this ministry in State College.  Bottles will be collected on Sunday, June 20.  You can also click here to make a donation online.

NEW MEMBER’S CLASS Our New Member’s Class has been rescheduled to Sunday, June 13.  If you are participating in the class, join us in the conference room following the worship service.  If you have any questions, please contact Holly Beaver at hollyb@bigwoods.org or call the church office at 570-893-8274.
