This Week’s Need to Know – 12/20/2018

Make sure you take the invitation available to you in the church bulletin and share it with a friend, coworker, or neighbor.  We look forward to sharing the good news of Jesus this Christmas.

Sunday’s Text: Philippians 2:19:30
There are still food items on the angel tree in the lobby that need to be purchased for Christmas food baskets that will be distributed to five families. If anyone would like to participate it would be a great blessing to those families. Items are due by this Sunday, December 23, and can be placed in the box below the tree. If the item needs to be refrigerated it can be placed in the kitchen. Thank you!
Donations Needed:  Ham (3), Cookies (3), Rolls (1), Corn (1)

We’re getting closer to starting up several new adult Sunday school classes.  There will be three classes available and you can learn more about them here.  They will be on the following topics:  Titus, Theology of the Gospel, and another class called What Did You Expect focused on marriage.  The Theology of the Gospel class as well as the marriage class will require a sign up and will be on a first come basis.  Sign ups are located in the church lobby.
We look forward to spending time together as a body taking The Lord’s Supper this Sunday.  Take a moment to read over I Corinthians 11:23-26 and meditate on the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf that we might be reconciled to God.
The church offices will be closed from December 25 – January 1.  Hope you have a wonderful Christmas holiday, and we pray for a blessed 2019.
