Trunk or Treat is this Saturday, October 31, from 1PM –  3PM right here at Big Woods.  Be sure to invite your friends and neighbors.  We’ll have lots of candy, prizes, and hot apple cider for everyone to enjoy.  Help spread the word by sharing our Facebook Event Page as well.  

Our next annual meeting will be Sunday, November 1, at 6:00 PM.  We will meet in the auditorium.  Up for vote are the following individuals:

Deacons (3 year term) – David Dale, Tom Stover, Scott Weaver, Mike Wenger
Trustee (3 year term) – Scott Heckman
Moderator (1 year term) – Drew Talbot

Also, we will be voting on the 2021 budget.  Included in this meeting are updates from many of our ministry heads.  We will also present recommended bylaws changes as well as two candidates to be nominated to the elder board, Matt McDermit and Bill Newman.  A vote on the bylaws and elder candidates will take place at a special meeting to be called on Sunday, December 6, following the service.  The budget and the proposed bylaws changes will be available at the meeting as well as at the back table in the auditorium.  For more information, please contact Pastor Josh at

Our next Women’s Ministry Prayer Meeting will be on Saturday, November 14, at 9:00 AM.  Come out for a sweet time of fellowship and prayer.  Light refreshments will be served.

If you’re participating in our Baby Bottle Blessings, please be sure to bring them with you to church this Sunday.  We are collecting those to send to Pregnancy Resource Center in State College.
