IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
We are nearing the closing date for the sale of our old building on Logan St in Castanea.  To complete the sale, we will need to replace one of our trustees.  Our bylaws require us to have three to sign legal documents as legal representatives for the church.  Rich Butville has resigned as a trustee as he and Yvonne have moved out of the area.  The closing is scheduled take place on October 25, ahead of the annual business meeting.  The elders, after consulting the bylaws, are going to call a special meeting to vote on making Joshua Hamilton the third trustee in order to meet the legal requirements of the bylaws and complete the real estate transaction.  This vote will take place on Sunday, October 20, in between the morning service and Sunday school hour.  Pastor Josh will only serve in this capacity until a new trustee is appointed and receives a vote of affirmation at the annual business meeting, which is scheduled for November 10.  If you have any questions, speak with any of the elders or contact Joshua Hamilton (joshuah@bigwoods.org).
