Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.

BRIDGE LOAN OFFERING
We rejoiced last Sunday as we celebrate His provision of $113,132.00 given to help pay down the Bridge Loan which was used to complete the Children’s Wing portion of the building project. Even since then, gifts have still come and the balance of that offering is now over $116,000.00! We praise God for His provision through your generous and sacrificial giving. Pray for us as we move forward and seek to complete the youth room in the basement area. We have retained an architect for this project. That architect is also going to help us develop plans for our front canopy as well. Doing so will help us know how much it will cost to complete this project as well. Ultimately, we will move forward as God provides, with the purpose of using what God has provided to minister to His people and this community. Thank you again for your sacrificial and generous giving as well as your prayers for and service to the body at Big Woods.
MOVING BACK INDOORS
As we move deeper into the fall season and the temperatures drop, we will inevitably need to move our services back indoors. We will begin indoor services on October 11. Our service time will still be at 9:00 AM, and there will be one service. We will still have Children’s Church, and it will follow our current format for the time being. Kids will be in the worship service, will be called up for a special kid’s sermon with Pastor Tim, and then be dismissed to Children’s Church. Parent’s will need to use the check in system and get a sticker for their children. We will have people to help guide you through this process at our services. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available at all services. We request people wear masks while moving about the building and maintain social distancing. Masks may be removed at your discretion once you are seated. Seats have been spread out to allow families to sit together and maintain social distancing protocols while seated. If you or a member of your immediate family is feeling sick, we do ask that you refrain from attending. Services will still be streamed live on our Facebook page. As we have learned in this season, there are always mitigating factors that may necessitate we make changes, though we will work to maintain as much consistency as possible. Thank you for your patience and help as we continue to worship in community together in these trying times.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Now that we are moving back indoors, it is a great opportunity to get involved in ministry. There are a variety of opportunities – all the way from helping to serve coffee to teaching children in Sunday school. You can click here to see what opportunities are available. Be sure to check off every ministry about which you would like to learn. Once you submit the form, someone will be in touch with you to talk about how you can serve in the ministries you have selected. If you have any other questions, you can send them directly to Pastor Josh at firstname.lastname@example.org.
MIDDLE SCHOOL RETREAT
Navigate’s middle school ministry is taking off for a weekend retreat from October 16-18 at Sylvan Hills Camp in Howard, PA. It is going to be a crazy weekend of events and night games, but also biblical teaching and small group discussions. If there is any event we don’t want our middle school students to miss, it is definitely this one!
