Please bear with us as we enter a temporary phase that will get a little chaotic and a little messy over the next few weeks. As you heard earlier today, we are rapidly approaching the finish line. That means in the next few weeks, things that are here are going over there. That will mean we will be in a bit of an upheaval for several Sundays, but it’s only because we’re getting ready to finally make the move we’ve all been anticipating. So, please be gracious, and bear with us over the next few weeks. We may run out of coffee, or creamer, or we might be missing some chairs somewhere. You may even turn a corner and find things stacked up and prepped for moving. The cabinets in the kitchen are already being being removed so we can eventually install them in the new building, so that room is going to be out of sorts for a while. It’s going to be a little bit bumpy and a little bit clunky, but we’ll be on the other side of this transition soon. Thank you for your patience and help in the near future. More information will be coming out tomorrow and on Sunday about what you can anticipate happening. Stay tuned!
PRAISE AND PRAYER NIGHT
One of the best things we can do to prepare our hearts and minds right now is to go to the Lord with sincere praise and prayer, asking Him to work in our hearts through this season of change at Big Woods. On Sunday night, September 9, 2018, at 7:00 o’clock, we will hold a night of praise and prayer. During that time, we want to direct our minds to focus on God’s goodness on our behalf. There will be moments of singing, Scripture readings, and prayer through the course of the evening. At the end of the night, we will break into small groups, each group meeting with an elder. This will be a time for church leadership to hear from you about cares and concerns you may have. Please begin now to pray and plan to be a part of this important meeting on Sunday night.
