Sunday’s Text:  I Samuel 30Struggling with Rejection

Here’s an update from our friends at PRC State College.

Thank you for your participation in Baby Bottle Blessings again this year!  Your church returned 76/100 bottles and raised $1,091.03.  Together with all of the other participating churches, you helped us to raise over $34,000 for the ongoing work of PRC.

We are so grateful for your partnership!

Join us on Sunday as we participate as a body in the taking of the Lord’s Supper.  Begin focusing now on what Jesus did for us on the cross.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace – Ephesians 1:7

Our next Backyard BBQ will be on July 29, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and will be hosted by Tim & Erin Owens at their home, located at 1111 Sugar Run Rd., in Mill Hall.  It is a Sunshine event, therefore the BBQ will be canceled if it is raining.  All paper/plastic products (plates, napkins, cups, utensils, etc.) will be provided by the host along with condiments, drinks, and a grill for cooking.  Attendees need to bring their own meat, a side dish to share, and it is recommended they bring their own chair as well.

Make sure you stop by the Big Wood Book Shelf in the lobby.  There are several great books on multiple topics that can and will be a blessing to your Christian life.  If you see a book you like, you’re welcome to sign it out at no cost and return once you’ve finished reading it, or if you would like to keep it, you may, we simply suggest a $10 donation to help offset the cost.  You can also visit our Bookshelf link and learn about any of the books that have been recommended at Big Woods and order your own copy online.
