Please continue to lift up Aaron Batdorf in prayer as the elders have presented the need for him to return to Big Woods to serve as our part-time Associate Pastor of Discipleship.  This role will be tasked with oversight of discipleship ministries with college and adult ministries.  More details about this role can be found in a detailed job description which is available by clicking here.  Questions about this role can be directed to the elders by emailing  A special business meeting will be called on Sunday, May 23, following the worship service with the purpose of taking a vote to affirm the recommendation by the elders of hiring Aaron.

Mark your calendars, our Sunday services will be moving outdoors on May 30.  Bring your chairs, canopies, and Bibles as we enjoy gathering together in worship and fellowship.

We’ll be participating in the 2021 Baby Bottle Blessings fundraiser for the Pregnancy Resource Clinic in State College.  All you’ll need to do is pick up a bottle this Sunday and fill it with change, dollars, or even a check made to Pregnancy Resource Clinic.  Bottles can be found on the back desk in the auditorium.  All funds go to help support this ministry in State College.  Bottles will be collected on Sunday, June 13.  You can also click here to make a donation online.
