Don’t forget that time change is this weekend.  Be sure to set your clock forward one hour before you go to bed on Saturday evening.

Our next Women’s Prayer Meeting will be this Saturday, March 13, at 9:00 AM, located here at the church. Women are invited to join us as we spend time in fellowship with one another as well as pray for one another and others in our church body and community.

We are scheduling a baptism service on Sunday, March 28.  We are also looking to start a New Members class on April 18.  If you are interested in learning more about baptism or are interested in becoming a member of the church, please contact Pastor Josh at the church office at (570) 893-8274 ext. 102, or

Each Easter season is time for the annual Annie Armstrong Offering.  Funds from this go across North America to support mission works, church planting, and evangelization.  Pray and ask God how He would have you give to support missions in North America.

We are excited for our upcoming outreach event on Saturday, March 27, at 10:30 AM.  We will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt here at Big Woods.  The last event we were able to host was our Trunk-or-Treat in October.  On that day, we had hundreds of people that came out to participate in this event.  Now that the sun is coming back out and temperatures are starting to warm up, we believe people are going to be ready to get out of the house!  What better opportunity to minister to our community at this time by connecting them with our church family and sharing a clear presentation of the Gospel.

We’re excited to be partnering with First Baptist Church of Lock Haven and Child Evangelistic Fellowship for this outreach.  Together, we look forward to spending time with our neighbors, building relationships, inviting them to our ministries, along with a fun morning for their families.  We need you to be involved to help make this a successful day.  Opportunities include volunteering to help guide older kids to and from the egg hunt outside, help guide younger kids to and from the inside egg hunt in the Children’s Wing, as well as people to help welcome guests at our registration table.  Volunteers are needed to help us setup as well as clean up after the event.  If you can be a part of this, please use the link to sign up below.

We will be having a volunteer training day on Sunday, March 21, at 11:30 AM.  Lunch will be provided.  Please make sure you are there so we can get everyone assigned to their duties as well as go over our plan for the Egg Hunt.  We want to make sure everyone knows exactly what they are doing so everything will flow smoothly.

If you are not able to volunteer, then perhaps you can help by donating candy and/or plastic eggs.  Our current plan calls for over 6,000 eggs to give away on that day.  Donations can be dropped off in the church auditorium.  Look for the bright boxes in the back at the middle doors.

Finally, everyone can pray that we are able to bless our community and share our faith, and that God will change hearts eternally because of this event.
