This Week’s Need to Know – 03/05/2020

Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ.
-Colossians 1:28

THIS WEEK’S TEXT: Exodus 8-11A Plague of Problems
Taught By: Pastor Tim

Sunday starts a new set of classes for Sunday school.  There will be a class in the auditorium focusing on several of the Psalms.  Matt & Angelyn Trumbull will be teaching a newlywed class (married 5 years or less) in Classroom 1.  For more information, click here.

We will be hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4, from 10:00 AM to noon.  The purpose is to reach out to our community to build relationships that will lead to opportunities to show them the love of Jesus and to find opportunities to share the Gospel with our words and life.  You can be involved by volunteering (click here to sign up) or by helping provide some of the supplies we need.  We need about a dozen people to help register families, guide kids to their designated areas, and be a friendly presence to the many guests from our community that will be there.  We also need the following items:

  • Individually wrapped candy (we need enough to fill 7,000 eggs)
  • Prize donations – we’ll be doing a prize drawing for those in attendance.  We hope to have some bigger items like scooters, or even bikes.  However, we will gladly take themed baskets (example: outdoor fun basket with chalk, bubbles, sand toys, etc.).  If it is laid on your heart to donate anything like this, it would be greatly appreciated.  Feel free to team up with your family, your home group, or other friends from the body to put a basket together.

Finally, please pray that we will continue to develop relationships with people in our community and that these relationships would ultimately lead to more people coming to know Jesus as their Savior.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jenn BraunJill Sims, or Melissa Varholak.

Our first Guatemala Missions Trip fundraiser will take place on Friday, March 13.  This is a great opportunity to support our missions team.  There will be several delicious choices that will be available at the supper.  There is no minimum charge.  We ask that you simply make a donation towards the summer missions trip.

Do you have trouble hearing the sermon?  Are you working somewhere in the building during the sermon? We now have a solution for you and all you need is your smart device and a pair of headphones. Visit and download the free AudioFetch Application for your Apple IOS or Android Smart Device. When at church on Sunday: Connect your device to the WIFI named Audio. The password is BWBCAudio.  Then, open the AudioFetch Application. You will be able to listen to the Audio through your headphones.

Sunday is the cut off for signing up for the annual Sprinter Retreat.  The cost per student is $65, with a $20 discount per additional student within the same family.  If cost is an issue, please contact Stuart Redcay.  Scholarship funds are available for those that need them.
