Making Room for Community in a Socially Distant World
At Big Woods Bible Church, we are doing our best to provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone in attendance. Here’s what we’re doing to help as many as possible be welcome and engaged at our worship services.
-Masks and sanitizer are available at both entrances.
-We ask you wear masks when moving around the building. You may take them off when you are seated with your family.
-Seats have been spread out in the auditorium.
-We are encouraging people to maintain social distancing protocols at all times.
-We are currently only meeting for worship services at 9:00 AM on Sundays. A nursery for babies as well as a children’s church for elementary age kids are both available during the worship service.
-NAVIGATE Youth Gatherings are still meeting on Sunday evenings at 6:30 (high school) and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 (middle school). Students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during their interaction with one another. Masks are provided.
-We are not taking a physical offering. Offering boxes are available at each of the auditorium exit doors. You can also give online or by mail.
-We are observing communion once a month at our services. However, elements will be served by leadership who are wearing masks and gloves to individuals rather than passing them around as we have done in the past.
-The building is cleaned and sanitized weekly.
-During the warmer months, if there is still a need to maintain social distancing protocols, we will once again move our services outside.
-All our worship services are streamed live on our Facebook page. After the service, sermons can be accessed from our website on demand.
