2020 Home Groups

One of the most difficult aspects of this pandemic has been a disconnection of people from one another.  We are relational creatures, created in God’s image, made to live in relationship with Him and with one another.  However, these difficult times have caused us to have to make decisions that go against our relational nature for the benefit of our neighbor.

This time has also been a strain on our emotions and spirits as well.  The election, racial tensions, uncertainty, along with the regular stresses of life – all this and more has put many people on edge.  Unfortunately, in times when Christians should have shined brightest, many times they have not.  Whether it be on social media, out in public, or with our friends and family, too many times Christians have behaved our worst.  But, it doesn’t have to be this way.  This Fall, we will take a look at what it means for Christians to be at their best!  We will take time to go through the video series and workbook called, Christians At Their Best, written by Ed Stetzer.  In this study, you will be challenged to examine your life and actions and see if they are in alignment with biblical principles and the life of our Savior.  In a world that is growing ever more polarized, we as Christians want to live out the love of Jesus in a way that will lead people to a transforming experience with the Gospel.
