SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Jesus Continued: This theologically based class will be based off the book “Jesus Continued” by JD Greear and will focus on pneumatology which is the study of the Holy Spirit. Join Daniel Nauta this week as he leads the class in Classroom 1. Priorities: This class will focus on our priorities, looking at why we do what we do and how we manage/schedule our days. Pastor Robbie will be leading this class in Classroom 4 as he aims to teach the importance of having a biblical approach to our time.
Church 101 Q&A:
As we go through the Church 101 series in our Sunday Morning Worship time, questions may arise. This class will be formatted as a question and answer time where the questions that you have can be submitted on Sunday and discussed during Sunday School. There will be a QR code on your bulletin on Sunday Morning that you can scan and then submit your questions anonymously. After the service, during Sunday School we will sit down and dialogue through your questions together, diving deeper into God’s Word. Be sure to submit your questions on Sunday and join Pastor Tim after the service. (MPR)
MEN’S GARAGE MINISTRY
Our next Garage Night will be TONIGHT, Thursday, July 6th at 6:00 p.m., where all men will be invited to meet at the garage of Dave Frankenberger (1930 Long Run Road, Mill Hall). Men, grab a chair and come prepared to talk shop and tackle life’s challenges, while building on the strengths of your brothers in Christ.
WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
The next Ladies’ Prayer Gathering will be THIS Saturday, July 8th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Come and be blessed by yet another personal story of a life saved by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Saturday prayer is an intimate time of blessing and joy…and even includes coffee and sweets!
SUNDAY LUNCHES FOR YOUNG
Our weekly Sunday Lunches for Young Adults is taking a pause for the summer. Be sure to keep an eye out for when they will start back up!
Come out and support our Softball Team every Sunday afternoon at Peddie Park. For more information, you can reach out to Pastor Robbie by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
AWANA EXPLORATION MEETING
As you heard Pastor Stuart announce on Sunday, we are looking into a mid-week Children's Ministry, specifically AWANA. The tentative plan would be to offer a mid-week Children's ministry for 2 years old through 5th grade, on a weekly basis. As he stressed, we cannot do this without the help from volunteers which is why there will be an exploratory meeting on July 9th (between service and Sunday School) for anyone interested in volunteering for this ministry. If you’d like to read more about this ministry, click here!

COLLEGE SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
The college summer study group will not meet this coming Tuesday, July 11th due to Pastor Robbie being out of town. They will resume on July 18th.
Join us on Wednesday, July 12th at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering with a potluck before starting at 5:30pm. Our prayer gatherings will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.
THIRD SUNDAY SUMMER
As you know, Big Woods is hosting Third Sunday Summer Gatherings all throughout the summer and our next gathering is on July 16th at Riverview Park following a sweet time of celebrating lives committed to Christ though an outdoor baptism. Just like the last gathering in June, the church is going to provide hotdogs and hamburgers, but as the Young Adults host, they ask that that you please sign up for only ONE thing to bring as this gathering will include a food contest! You may choose to bring an appetizer, side, OR dessert item to share with others and enter the competition. Only dishes/names signed up will be entered into the competition on a first come first served basis, so be sure to sign up! Drinks will not be judged, but feel free to get creative! There will be some prizes awarded in the categories of taste, creativity, uniqueness, and more, so be sure to bring your A-game. You can sign up by clicking here!
There will be a baptism on Sunday, July 16th at Riverview Park. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact the church office at (570) 893-8274 or email Haylee at email@example.com

OF THE MONTH
"Habits of Grace" by David Mathis is the July book of the month! This book breaks the spiritual disciplines down into three categories, which are word, prayer and fellowship as it takes the next step in reminding us how important it is to spend time with other people. If you are interested in reading this book or any of the others on the shelf, you can sign out the book on the sheet on the shelf or if you’d like to keep the book, you can put a suggested donation of $10 in the wooden box.
