NO COLLEGE SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
Due to Pastor Robbie being away this week, the college bible study will not meet on Tuesday, June 20th

THIRD SUNDAY SUMMER GATHERING
Our first Third Sunday Summer Gathering is THIS SUNDAY! We are looking forward to spending time together as we eat, play games and fellowship together. This is a potluck style picnic, but the church is providing hotdogs and hamburgers; you can sign up to bring something and/or help with clean up by clicking here. Please bring a chair, a dish to share and join us on the lawn after the service on Sunday.

“LIVE YOUR TRUTH” BIBLE STUDY
Women’s Ministry is continuing their summer study on Alisa Childer’s book “Live Your Truth and Other Lies: Exposing Popular Deceptions that Make Us Anxious, Exhausted, and Self Centered.” To learn more about the study, click here! BLOOD DRIVE
There will be a Community Blood Drive hosted at Big Woods Bible Church (241 S Hanna Street, Lock Haven) on Monday June 26, 2023, from 1pm – 6:00pm. For more information and to sign up, go to redcrossblood.org, enter the zip code 17745, and the select Big Woods!

PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on Wednesday, June 28th at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering. Our prayer gatherings will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.

MEN’S GARAGE MINISTRY
Our next Garage Night will be, Thursday, July 6th at 6:00 p.m., where all men will be invited to meet at the garage of Dave Frankenberger (1930 Long Run Road, Mill Hall).  Men, grab a chair and come prepared to talk shop and tackle life’s challenges, while building on the strengths of your brothers in Christ.

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
The next Ladies’ Prayer Gathering will be Saturday, July 8th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Come and be blessed by yet another personal story of a life saved by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Saturday prayer is an intimate time of blessing and joy…and even includes coffee and sweets!

BOOK OF THE MONTH
"Jesus Continued" by J.D. Greear is the June book of the month! This book takes deeper look at the ministry of the Holy Spirit, what the Holy Spirit does in the life of a Christian. J.D. Greear has a great subtitle to his book which is “Why the Spirit Inside You is Better Than Jesus Beside You.” He bases this subtitle in the passage from Scripture when Jesus is speaking to his disciples in John 16. We welcome you to grab this book from our bookshelf as well as join Pastor Aaron in his Sunday School class about this book. To hear Pastor Aaron share more about this book, click here!

NURSING HOME DONATIONS
A need has been expressed by two Long Haven long term care facilities for weekly bingo prizes. Many residents look forward to these games not only for entertainment but also as a way to have access to needed items they often cannot afford. On Sunday and throughout the week, there will be a container in the lobby to collect these items that are in NEW CONDITION.
