THIS WEEK’S TEXT: “Unity and Diversity” Ephesians 3:7-10

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Jesus Continued: This theologically based class will be based off the book “Jesus Continued” by JD Greear and will focus on pneumatology which is the study of the Holy Spirit. Join Pastor Aaron this week as he leads the class in Classroom 1.
Priorities: This class will focus on our priorities, looking at why we do what we do and how we manage/schedule our days. Pastor Robbie will be leading this class in Classroom 4 as he aims to teach the importance of having a biblical approach to our time.
Q&A: As we go through the Church 101 series in our Sunday Morning Worship time, questions may arise. This class will be formatted as a question and answer time where the questions that you have can be submitted on Sunday and discussed during Sunday School. There will be a QR code on your bulletin on Sunday Morning that you can scan and then submit your questions anonymously. After the service, during Sunday School we will sit down and dialogue through your questions together, diving deeper into God’s Word. Be sure to submit your questions on Sunday and join Pastor Tim after the service. (MPR)

SUNDAY LUNCHES FOR YOUNG ADULTS/FAMILIES
The young adults and families are invited out to the Zembower’s home (225 Susquehanna Ave., Lock Haven) after church this week for a time of fellowship. Lunch is not provided this week. If you have any questions, please contact the office!

MEN’S GARAGE MINISTRY
Our next Garage Night will be TONIGHT, Thursday, June 1st at 6:00 p.m., where all men will be invited to meet at the garage of Dave Frankenberger (1930 Long Run Road, Mill Hall).  Men, grab a chair and come prepared to talk shop and tackle life’s challenges, while building on the strengths of your brothers in Christ.

WOMEN OF THE WORD WORKSHOP
The final Woman of the Word Workshop will be happening on June 3rd from 2pm-4pm. This workshop is open to ANY woman who wants to learn more about how to study and dive into God’s Word. This workshop equips women to approach, study, understand and apply the Bible on their own. If you plan to attend, please bring your study Bible and some colored pens, pencils or highlighters.

COLLEGE SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
This summer, we will be hosting a college Bible study for students returning from college and others in the area. The Bible study will be focusing on 1 Peter and will be 8:00pm Tuesday nights at the Mays'. We are so excited for this opportunity to build a foundation for community for college students returning to the area for the summers!

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
The next Ladies’ Prayer Gathering will be Saturday, June 10th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Come and be blessed by yet another personal story of a life saved by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Saturday prayer is an intimate time of blessing and joy…and even includes coffee and sweets!

“LIVE YOUR TRUTH” BIBLE STUDY
Starting the week of June 12th, Women’s Ministry will be having a summer bible study. They will be examining the modern lies that are disguised as Truths in today’s culture as they read through Alisa Childer’s book “Live Your Truth and Other Lies: Exposing Popular Deceptions that Make Us Anxious, Exhausted, and Self Centered.” To learn more about the study, click here! PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on Wednesday, June 14th at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering with a potluck before starting at 5:30pm. We are extra excited about this gathering because we will have the opportunity to hear a ministry update from Luke and Julianna Brady and their family!

THIRD SUNDAY SUMMER GATHERING
This summer will be hosting a Third Sunday Summer Gathering right here at Big Woods. Just as the name suggests, the third Sunday of June, July, and August, after the service, we will be having a BBQ and potluck style gathering out on the lawn with food, outdoor games, and fellowship! Our first gathering will be on June 18th, and you can sign up by clicking here.

BOOK OF THE MONTH
"Jesus Continued" by J.D. Greear is the June book of the month! This book takes deeper look at the ministry of the Holy Spirit, what the Holy Spirit does in the life of a Christian. J.D. Greear has a great subtitle to his book which is “Why the Spirit Inside You is Better Than Jesus Beside You.” He bases this subtitle in the passage from Scripture when Jesus is speaking to his disciples in John 16.
