SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Jesus Continued: This theologically based class
will be based off the book “Jesus Continued” by JD Greear and will focus on pneumatology which is the study of the Holy
Spirit. Join Daniel Nauta this week as he leads the class in Classroom 1.
Priorities: This class will focus
on our priorities, looking at why we do what we do and how we manage/schedule
our days. Pastor Robbie will be leading this class in Classroom 4 as he aims to
teach the importance of having a biblical approach to our time.
Church 101 Q&A: As we go through the Church
101 series in our Sunday Morning Worship time, questions may arise. This class
will be formatted as a question and answer time where the questions that you
have can be submitted on Sunday and discussed during Sunday School. There will
be a QR code on your bulletin on Sunday Morning that you can scan and then
submit your questions anonymously. After the service, during Sunday School we
will sit down and dialogue through your questions together, diving deeper into
God’s Word. Be sure to submit your questions on Sunday and join Pastor Tim
after the service. (MPR)

blessed by yet another personal story of a life saved by faith in the finished
work of Jesus Christ. Saturday prayer is an intimate time of blessing and
joy…and even includes coffee and sweets!
BOOK
OF THE MONTH
"Jesus Continued" by J.D. Greear is the June book of the month! This
book takes deeper look at the ministry of the Holy Spirit, what the Holy Spirit
does in the life of a Christian. J.D. Greear has a great subtitle to his book
which is “Why the Spirit Inside You is Better Than Jesus Beside You.” He bases
this subtitle in the passage from Scripture when Jesus is speaking to his
disciples in John 16. We welcome you to grab this book from our bookshelf as
well as join Pastor Aaron in his Sunday School class about this book. To hear
Pastor Aaron share more about this book, click here!
NURSING
HOME DONATIONS
A need has been expressed by two Lock
Haven long term care facilities for
weekly bingo prizes because many of their residents look forward to these games
and prizes. We have a container in the lobby to collect items that are in NEW
CONDITION. To see a list of these items, click here!
THIRD SUNDAY SUMMER GATHERING
We are so thankful for the individuals
who were able to participate in our gathering this past Sunday! Thank you to
the deacons and others who set up the tables and chairs, tear down after and
grill. Thank you to the ladies who helped clean up and thank you to Helen for
gathering all the supplies. Thank you to the Simms and the Rosypals for organizing
the games and thank you to Holly Beaver for her work behind the scenes to help
organize the event.
Also, a reminder, we have two more gatherings scheduled for the summer! So,
mark your calendars for July 16th for another special time of
fellowship, food and an outdoor baptism!
