“WOMEN OF THE WORD” WORKSHOP
Women’s Ministry is holding a workshop on Jen Wilkin’s book, "Women of the Word." It will be a breakdown of how to approach, study, understand, and apply the Bible on our own. This workshop will be offered in Classroom 4 on Friday April 7th at 10:30am (childcare provided).

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
The Ladies’ Prayer Gathering for April will be Saturday, April 8th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Come and be blessed by yet another personal story of a life saved by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Saturday prayer is an intimate time of blessing and joy…and even includes coffee and sweets!

GRIEF SHARE
Grief Share is a 13-week group aimed to help you face the challenges of grief after losing a loved one. During the sessions, we will focus on the hope and healing that is found in the truth offered through gospel. If you are interested in joining us, you can sign up and register by clicking here!

ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING
The Annie Armstrong Easter offering is something that we have done in the past and are looking forward to doing again. For the next few weeks, we will have the opportunity to give to this offering. 100% of the money given to this offering will go to support missionaries serving in North America. For more information about this offering click here! To give, there are envelopes at the welcome desks or at the table in the back of the sanctuary.

ADVENTURES IN MOTHERHOOD
AIM will be meeting the second Thursday of every month from 10:30am – 12:00pm at the church. Childcare and refreshments will be provided. The days remaining for the Spring are April 13th, and May 11th. To volunteer for childcare, please email Jillian Best at jbest@ibcwen.net

PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on Wednesday, April 19th at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering. Our prayer gatherings will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.

SECRET CHURCH
Secret Church is an international simulcast done every year by David Platt and his organization, Radical. Navigate and New Life students have been involved for many years and would love for you to join in on the fun! Come out on Friday, April 21 from approximately 7:00 p.m. until midnight. This year’s series will go through the entire book of Jonah! Jonah is one of the best-known books of the Bible. But beyond the fascinating story of a fish swallowing a man, you will find the challenging account of God’s most unwilling prophet and how, often, we, like Jonah, choose our own comfort over God’s mission. But Jesus shows us a better way. Together we will learn how the gospel drives us to make disciples, not just of people who look and think like us—but of all nations, even those we would consider our enemies. There is no cost to participate!

BAPTISM
There will be a baptism on Sunday, April 23.  If you are interested in being baptized, please contact the church office at 570-893-8274 or email Haylee at hayleec@bigwoods.org

MEN’S CAMPFIRE
Men mark your calendars! Men’s Ministry is hosting a campfire here at the church on Saturday May 6th. More information to come!

MIDNIGHT PANCAKES
Next month, NewLife will be hosting Midnight Pancakes during finals week at LHU. Many of you have helped in the past and know that this is a great way to connect with students and minister to them as they finish up the school year. This semester, we will be at the Student Rec Center on campus Tuesday, May 9th to serve the students pancakes from 11pm-1am. We need both ingredients and supplies to make the event happen, as well as volunteers to cook pancakes, serve pancakes, and most importantly, talk to college students! If you would be willing to help out by either donating materials or volunteering on May 9th, please fill out the form here!
