THIS WEEK’S TEXT: “The Family of God” Romans 16:1-16
Taught by:  Pastor Aaron Batdorf

SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
There are no sign ups for this round of Sunday School Classes, just show up!
Pure in Heart: This class will work to help men wrestle through the reality of sexual sins while also focusing on the promises of God. Understanding the power of the Holy Spirit and the intercessory work of Jesus on our behalf will allow believers to encourage one another as the body of Christ, seeking to be holy. This Sunday’s topic will be: Drop Your Facade led by Matt McDermott. (Classroom 1)
Mama Bear Apologetics: This class is for not only moms, but for all women. Join a group of ladies as they seek to understand how to empower kids to challenge the cultural lies of this world. God has given moms and women the responsibility to speak biblical truths to their children so that they can be holy, just as He is holy.  (Classroom 4)
God Given: God’s Plan for Gender and Sexuality: We live in a world that is deeply confused about sexuality and gender. As Christians, we have an opportunity to speak truth on these subjects that are vitally important to our lives and identity. Over the next 8 weeks, we are tackling these questions through "God Given: God's Plan for Gender & Sexuality". Through this Sunday School class, we will look at the biblical origins of gender & sexuality, as well as discuss their purposes as God intended them. Finally, we will examine how the world has erred on these subjects, and how Christians should respond. This class will be taught by Pastor Stuart. (Sanctuary)

SUNDAY LUNCHES FOR YOUNG ADULTS/FAMILIES
The young adults and families are invited out to the Redcay’s (138 Main Street, Beech Creek) after church this week for lunch and time together. Lunch is provided this week. If you have any questions, contact Stuart at 717-517-6523.

MEN’S GARAGE MINISTRY
Tonight! Thursday, October 6 at 6:00 p.m. all men will be invited to meet at the garage of Dave Frankenberger (1930 Long Run Road, Mill Hall).  Men, grab a chair and come prepared to talk shop and tackle life’s challenges, while building on the strengths of your brothers in Christ.

ADVENTURES IN MOTHERHOOD
Adventures in Motherhood, AIM, is a faith based ministry for moms of children ages 0-18 to come connect, grow, and fellowship together. Motherhood is wonderful, but comes with unique challenges and can be isolating at times. Christian moms are called to bear one another’s burdens and consider who to stir one another up to love and good works. This is what we hope to do through this ministry- to provide a community to grow and be encouraged in our role as faithful Christian mothers. The group will meet every other Thursday, alternating mornings (10:30a-12:00p) and evenings (7:00-8:30p). Morning meetings will have childcare provided. If you have any questions, please reach out to our AIM coordinators, Jillian Best, jbest@ibcweb.net, and Cheyenne Redcay, cskinner2015@gmail.com

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
Women’s prayer, which is held one Saturday morning a month, is a very special time of encouragement.  Please join us Saturday, October 8 from 9:00 until 10:00.  You will hear a personal story of a life changed by faith in Jesus Chris, followed by the opportunity to join a prayer with other ladies.  Come and enjoy some coffee and a great time of sharing!

PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on Wednesday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering. This prayer gathering will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.

FALL EVENT/TRUCK OR TREAT
