This Week's Need to Know!
It is easy to allow many sources to define ones understanding of spiritual warfare which can leave you living in constant dread and fear. Today, more than ever, Christians needs to understand what the Word of God teaches and how we can trust in the truth, and ultimately the victory, He promises.
THIS WEEK’S TEXT: “It’s not what you think, but it is
what you think” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
Taught by: Pastor
Tim Boger
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
There are no sign ups for this round of Sunday School
Classes, just show up!
Pure in Heart: This
class will work to help men wrestle through the reality of sexual sins while also
focusing on the promises of God. Understanding the power of the Holy Spirit and
the intercessory work of Jesus on our behalf will allow believers to encourage
one another as the body of Christ, seeking to be holy. This Sunday’s topic will
be: Embrace the Throne taught by Kenny Hall. (Classroom 1)
Mama Bear Apologetics:
This class is for not only moms, but for all women. Join a group of ladies as
they seek to understand how to empower kids to challenge the cultural lies of
this world. God has given moms and women the responsibility to speak biblical
truths to their children so that they can be holy, just as He is holy. This
Sunday’s topic will be: Moral Relativism led by Tara Newman. (Classroom 4)
God Given: God’s Plan for Gender and Sexuality: We
live in a world that is deeply confused about sexuality and gender. As
Christians, we have an opportunity to speak truth on these subjects that are
vitally important to our lives and identity. Over the next 8 weeks, we are
tackling these questions through "God Given: God's Plan for Gender &
Sexuality". Through this Sunday School class, we will look at the biblical
origins of gender & sexuality, as well as discuss their purposes as God
intended them. Finally, we will examine how the world has erred on these
subjects, and how Christians should respond. This class will be taught by
Pastor Stuart. (Sanctuary)

ADVENTURES IN MOTHERHOOD
Adventures in Motherhood, AIM, is
a faith-based ministry for moms of children ages 0-18 to come connect, grow,
and fellowship together. Motherhood is wonderful but comes with unique
challenges and can be isolating at times. Christian moms are called to bear one
another’s burdens and consider who to stir one another up to love and good
works. This is what we hope to do through this ministry- to provide a community
to grow and be encouraged in our role as faithful Christian mothers. The
group will meet every other Thursday, alternating mornings (10:30a-12:00p) and
evenings (7:00-8:30p). Morning meetings will have childcare provided. If you
have any questions, please reach out to our AIM coordinators, Jillian
Best, jbest@ibcweb.net, and Cheyenne Redcay, cskinner2015@gmail.com
