SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES 

  1. Women's Class: Aging with Grace: Flourishing in an Anti-Aging Culture – Destiny and Destination  Psalm 92:5-11 (led by multiple women from the church) (Meets in Classroom 2). 
  2. Caring for One Another: Know the Heart  Luke 6:45 taught by Aaron Batdorf  (Meets in Classroom 1)
  3. Young Married Couples (Married 5 years or less): taught by Matt and Angelyn Trumbull  (Meets in Classroom 3)

HANDICAP PARKING AREA
We wanted to pass along a friendly reminder that the back parking lot is reserved for handicap parking only, with the first row of parking reserved for those using wheelchairs.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Holly at hollyb@bigwoods.org.

NEWLIFE EVENT HELP

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
Please join us as we gather for a time of fellowship and prayer on Saturday, May 14 at 9:00 a.m. at the home of Brianna Batdorf, 18 N. Fairview Street, Lock Haven.

PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on Wednesday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering. This prayer gathering will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together. There will be no potluck.

WORKDAY -- RESCHEDULED
There will be an outside workday on Saturday, May 21 starting at 9:00 a.m.  Breakfast will be served at 8:00 a.m.  If you plan on attending, please sign up here.

OUTDOOR SERVICE
We will welcome summer with our first outdoor worship service on Sunday, June 5.  Bring your canopies and lawn chairs as we gather together.

BAPTISMAL
We will have a baptismal service on Sunday, June 5.  If you are interested in being baptized, please contact the church office at 570-893-8274 or email Holly at hollyb@bigwoods.org.

SUMMER BACKYARD BBQ
We are welcoming back our summer backyard BBQ during the months of June, July, and August – every Tuesday evening starting at 6:00 p.m.  If you are interested in opening your backyard for one of the summer BBQs, please sign up here.

VOLUNTEER COMMUNITY GARDEN
The volunteers for the community garden are looking for donations for their 50’x12’ garden. 

  1. 2x8 treated lumber
  2. Fencing to keep out rabbits and ground hogs
  3. Topsoil 
  1. Wood chips
  2. Rain barrels
  3. Heavy cardboard

NEW MOBILE APP FOR ONLINE GIVING
Vanco – our eGiving provider, has launched an updated mobile app called Vanco Mobile.  This new mobile will be replacing GivePlus Mobile.  With Vanco Mobile, you can send one-time donations or set recurring gifts.  Head over to the App Store or Google Play to download Vanco Mobile for free. Be sure to download this app soon, as GivePlus Mobile will be retired as of April 30th, 2022.   If you are already registered with GivePlue, you will use the same login and there will be no disruption with existing donations.  If you have any questions, please contact Holly Beaver at 570-893-8274 or hollyb@bigwoods.org.
