We
are now in week 3 of our FINISH STRONG initiative. As of last Sunday, 59.2% of our goal has been
met, with a remaining balance of $178,000.00.
We have 60 families that have given or pledged out of 117 Big Woods
Families. Praise God! Please continue to
pray about what God would have you and your family do.

return your box this Sunday! Boxes will be collected in the church lobby.
Donated items and/or money are still being collected Sunday. The college and youth
ministries will pack items at their annual packing party on Sunday after Sunday
School!
YOUTH CENTER RENOVATIONS
The renovation project officially kicked off yesterday! If you are
interested in signing up to be a volunteer for this project, please click

with dates and times needed for the upcoming week as well as the tasks to be
accomplished.
PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on December 1 at 6:30 p.m. for our
next prayer gathering. This prayer gathering will be every other Wednesday and
will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to
faithfully follow Jesus together. There will be a potluck at 5:30 p.m.
CHRISTMAS WORSHIP IN THE WOODS
Our
church will be hosting an outdoor light display synchronized to music December
3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. running every 30 minutes.
Refreshments will be provided. Invite a
neighbor or a friend! We still have slots that need to be filled to

PREGNANCY RESOURCE CLINIC HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE
Monday, December 6 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. located
at 421 & 423 S. Pugh Street. They will provide a tour of their new space
and provide an opportunity to mingle with their staff and volunteers. Please RSVP at SCPRC.COM.
WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
Please join us as we gather for a time of
fellowship and prayer on Saturday, December 11 at 9:00 a.m. here at the church.
LOTTIE
MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING
Lottie
Moon was appointed a missionary to China July 7, 1873. Her influence led to the
establishment of the Woman’s Missionary Union and inspired other mission
pioneers to join her on the field. Your giving enables missionaries to be sent
to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for
the glory of God. There are envelopes at the back of the sanctuary and at the
Welcome Center if you would like to contribute to the Lottie Moon Christmas
offering during the month of December.
Please write “Lottie Moon Offering” on the memo line of your check.
