PRAYER POINTS
Every other Wednesday evening the Elders meet for several hours to pray for the body and seek wisdom as they strive to lead and shepherd the body at Big Woods according to the Word of God.  Last evening some of the pressing needs and prayer points that they are asking for you to pray alongside them can be found here.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
The Bible is clear on what we are to do when we come together, but what about how we are to relate to one another? Sixty times in the Bible, we are instructed on how we are to treat one another. In this new Sunday School class, Living out the One Another Commands, we will look at these commands to see how we can follow them together!  Join us Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for this new class.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING – CHANGE OF DATE!
Members and regular attendees are encouraged to attend the Annual Business Meeting on Sunday, November 14 at 6:30 p.m.  Copies of the proposed 2022 budget will be available on Sunday at the back of the auditorium.

HOME GROUPS
It’s not too late to sign up for a home group.  If you are interested in joining one, please contact Pastor Aaron Batdorf at aaronb@bigwoods.org.

TRUNK OR TREAT
Join us for fun, games, and prizes on October 30 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. for this year’s Trunk or Treat here at Big Woods.  There are boxes in the back of the sanctuary for candy donations! If you would still like to participate, please feel free to show up!  If it rains, a communication will be sent out with details about the event.

PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on November 3 at 6:30 p.m. for our next prayer gathering. This prayer gathering will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.  A potluck will be held at 5:30 p.m.

SPAGHETTI DINNER
As part of our “Finish Strong” initiative, Navigate Youth Ministry is hosting a Spaghetti dinner fundraiser on November 12th to work toward the completion of our Youth Center! Come on out Friday, November 12th from 5pm-7pm to either dine in or carry out (bring your own container) a spaghetti dinner for the entire family! Want to be even more involved? Stay tuned and check your email soon for how you can assist the youth in this venture!

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
Please join us as we gather for a time of fellowship and prayer on Saturday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m. here at the church.

OPERATIONS CHRISTMAS CHILD
Through the Operations Christmas Child ministry, we have an opportunity to share the love of Christ and His Gospel with children all over the world. Boxes will be available next Sunday at the back of the auditorium. Feel free to grab a box and pack one with your family, but make sure you return them by November 21st! Don’t have time to pack a box, no problem! Feel free to donate items (see their website for what is approved: https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/pack-a-shoe-box/ or you can donate money for the college and youth ministries to pack at our annual packing party on November 21st! LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING
Lottie Moon was appointed a missionary to China July 7, 1873.  Her influence led to the establishment of the Woman’s Missionary Union and inspired other mission pioneers to join her on the field.  Your giving enables missionaries to be sent to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.  There are envelopes at the back of the auditorium and at the Welcome Center if you would like to contribute to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering during the month of December.  Please write “Lottie Moon Offering” on the memo line of your check.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are asking folks to take a minute and go online and update their profile in our church database. You can update/add your photo, update your address, birthday……you can also access your “giving history”.  Below is a list of steps to help you with this. 

Steps:

1. Go to https://servantkeeper.com/member-portal/BigWoodsBibleChurch/login . If you know your password skip to '5'.
2. If you've never logged in or forgot your password, then click "forgot password". 
3. Enter the email that you gave Big Woods as your main family email. (if you don't know what email you gave us, please call the office).
4. Password reset will be sent to your email for you to set up a password and login.
5.  Login and click on the "Giving History" link to view your giving history for the current and previous years.
