ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
The Bible is clear on what we are to do when we come together, but what about how we are to relate to one another? Sixty times in the Bible, we are instructed on how we are to treat one another. In this new Sunday School class, Living out the One Another Commands, we will look at these commands to see how we can follow them together!  Join us Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for this new class.

THIS WEEK’S TEXT FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL:  Hebrews 10:23-25  - How to stir up one another to love and do good works and how to encourage one another. Then, we will consider how to bear one another's burdens from Galatians 6:2.

“REVIVE ’21 – GROUNDED, STANDING FIRM IN A SHAKING WORLD”
Big Woods will be hosting a Livestream Conference for women called "Revive '21- Grounded, Standing Firm in a Shaking World" on Friday Oct 8th and Saturday Oct 9th. There will be 4 main sessions with breaks for meals. Childcare will be provided, and light refreshments will be served. This conference is provided free to women of all ages and is open to women outside the BWBC community. WORKDAY
A church workday is scheduled for October 16 with breakfast at 8:00 a.m.  If your son(s) is old enough to help, you are encouraged to bring them. Please sign up here.

PRAYER GATHERING Join us on October 20 at 6:30 p.m. for our next prayer gathering. This prayer gathering will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.

LIFE LINE SCREENING
Life Line Screening will be held at Big Woods on Monday, October 25.  Pre-registration is required.  To register, please call:  1-888-653-6450.

TRUNK OR TREAT
Join us for fun, games, and prizes on October 30 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. for this year’s Trunk or Treat here at Big Woods.  There are boxes in the back of the sanctuary for candy donations! Please (click here) here if you plan on participating!

VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for 5-8 volunteers to help place lights on the outside of the building for our Christmas community outreach, “Worship at the Woods ‘21” on October 23rd starting at 9:00 a.m.  We will need people on the ground crew and some people who are willing to work on ladders.  Please contract Travis Best ASAP 570-279-1746 or at travisb@bigwoods.org

MISSIONS SUNDAY
Save the Date!  Celebrate Missions with us on October 24th! Meet our newest missionary families: Jeff and Elaine Lewis, and Eric and Jalyn Ickes. Join both couples for Q&A during the Sunday School hour. We will fellowship together at a potluck lunch following Sunday School.

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
September and October’s Women’s Prayer meetings are cancelled.  We will gather together on Saturday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m. here at the church.

 WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are asking folks to take a minute and go online and update their profile in our church database. You can update/add your photo, update your address, birthday……you can also access your “giving history”.  Below is a list of steps to help you with this.  If you need help, we will have people on hand after Sunday’s worship service to assist you with this.  Travis Best will be available to take photos if you are interested.

Steps:
1. Go to https://servantkeeper.com/member-portal/BigWoodsBibleChurch/login . If you know your password skip to '5'.
2. If you've never logged in or forgot your password, then click "forgot password". 
3. Enter the email that you gave Big Woods as your main family email. (if you don't know what email you gave us, please call the office).
4. Password reset will be sent to your email for you to set up a password and login.
5.  Login and click on the "Giving History" link to view your giving history for the current and previous years.
