PRAYER POINTS
Every other Wednesday evening the Elders meet for
several hours to pray for the body and seek wisdom as they strive to lead and
shepherd the body at Big Woods according to the Word of God. Last evening
some of the pressing needs and prayer points that they are asking for you to
pray alongside them can be found here.
UPCOMING BAPTISMAL
There will be a baptismal this Sunday,
October 3 following Sunday School at the Riverside Park Lot 11. Driving
Directions:
From Lock Haven, cross the Veterans Bridge on Jay Street. At end of
bridge turn left. Drive 1/2 mile to the end of Riverview Park and turn left
into the park. Follow the road to Lot 11.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
The Bible is clear on what we are to do
when we come together, but what about how we are to relate to one another? Sixty
times in the Bible, we are instructed on how we are to treat one
another. In this new Sunday School class, Living out the One Another Commands, we will
look at these commands to see how we can follow them together! Join us
Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for this new class.

POTLUCK
A church potluck will be held on October 6 at
5:30 p.m. in the Multi-purpose Room.
Please sign up here. Prayer Gathering will follow in the church
sanctuary.
PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on October 6 at 6:30 p.m. for our Wednesday evening
prayer gathering. This prayer gathering will be every other Wednesday and will
be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully
follow Jesus together.
“REVIVE
’21 – GROUNDED, STANDING FIRM IN A SHAKING WORLD”
Big
Woods will be hosting a Livestream Conference for women called "Revive
'21- Grounded, Standing Firm in a Shaking World" on Friday Oct 8th and
Saturday Oct 9th. There will be 4 main sessions with breaks for meals.
Childcare will be provided, and light refreshments will be served. This
conference is provided free to women of all ages and is open to women outside
the BWBC community. We simply ask that you sign up in the back of the
Sanctuary, or email/text Brianna Batdorf to RSVP or with any questions, bbergey2@gmail.com or 814-592-6525.
