This Week's Need to Know!

THIS WEEK’S TEXT: “He Led Forth His Trained Men” Genesis 14:1-16
Taught by: Pastor Tim Boger

Following Jesus: How Do I Live as a Christian?
In this class, we will be looking at the practical ways that we can follow after Jesus. Join Pastor Aaron in Classroom 2/3 as he leads this week.
Genesis Q&A: This class will be formatted as a question and answer time where the questions that you have can be submitted on Sunday and discussed during Sunday School. There will be a QR code on your bulletin on Sunday Morning that you can scan and then submit your questions anonymously. After the service, during Sunday School we will sit down and dialogue through your questions together, diving deeper into God’s Word. Be sure to submit your questions on Sunday and join Pastor Tim after the service. (MPR)

This Sunday, we will welcome 15 people into membership! In an effort to make sure they are known in the body, we asked them to fill out a biographical survey. Please click the link here to read more information about them! “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” - Hebrews 10:24-25

January’s Book of the Month is “In the Lord I Take Refuge” which invites readers to experience the Psalms in a new way through heartfelt devotional content and is written by Dane Ortlund. Each reading is short enough to read in five minutes or less and will encourage believers to thoughtfully ponder and pray through each of the 150 Psalms. The Psalms could be called the Bible’s devotional. Each psalm reflects on the greatness of who God is and how he cares for his people. Written with profound emotion, each psalm sheds light on the raw experiences of the human heart, revealing how God’s people should turn to him in times of anguish, pain, remorse, joy, and thanksgiving.
