FAITH & FITNESS
Women’s Ministry is hosting a Faith & Fitness night on Thursday, November 16th at 7:00 p.m. There will be a workout for ladies to do together, snacks and recipes to share, and a testimony of how faith and fitness coincide. We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the team by emailing womensministy@bigwoods.org

ANNUAL BUISNESS MEETING
Our annual business meeting will be happening November 19, 2023, after church during the Sunday School hour starting at 10:45 am. The agenda and proposed budget will be made available this Sunday on the table in the back of the sanctuary.
There will be childcare provided for children up to 6 years old during the meeting and the older kids are welcome to play games in the MPR.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD VOLUNTEERS
Today marks the halfway point of Operation Christmas Child National Collection Week. We had a goal to pack 200 shoeboxes as a church. As of last evening, we have 165 that have been brought into the building. Praise God! Only 35 more to go in order to reach our goal. If you haven't packed a shoebox and would like to, you may pick up the box and label at the church.
As a drop-off location, we have received 1,859 shoeboxes thus far (this number does NOT include BWBC shoeboxes - they'll be added at the end). Praise God for His faithfulness! That means that 1,859 children will hear the Gospel because of work that's being done right here in Clinton County. Please continue to pray for this ministry over the next several days.

GRIEF SHARE
Grief Share is a 13-week group that will be running every Tuesday evening at 6:45pm from September 12th – December 12th. Grief Share aims to help you face the challenges of grief after losing a loved one. During the sessions, we will focus on the hope and healing that is found in the truth offered through gospel. If you are interested in joining us, you can still sign up by clicking here!

WEDNESDAY EVENING SERVICE
We will not have a Wednesday Evening Service on Wednesday, November 22nd due to Thanksgiving.

DISPLAY OF LIGHTS
It's almost Christmas and time for the Light Display! We are looking for cookie bakers, friendly faces to serve cookies and hot chocolate, and assistance with parking and security. The light display runs every Friday and Saturday night in December from 6pm-9pm. To sign up to serve, please click the link here!

MIDNIGHT PANCAKES
NewLife is hosting Midnight Pancakes on Tuesday, December 5th starting at 7:00 p.m. Last year, we were able to interact with about 300 students in each of the Fall and Spring semesters! This is a great opportunity to promote the Gospel of Christ during Final's Week. Please prayerfully consider helping out with this amazing event and fill out the attached form, here, as the Lord leads.

MEN’S GARAGE MINISTRY
Our next Garage Night will be, Thursday, December 7th at 6:00 p.m., where all men will be invited to meet at the garage of Dave Frankenberger (1930 Long Run Road, Mill Hall).  Men, grab a chair and come prepared to talk shop and tackle life’s challenges, while building on the strengths of your brothers in Christ

BOOK OF THE MONTH
"A Praying Church: Becoming a People of Hope in a Discouraging World" by Paul Miller is a compelling guide that delves into the essential role of prayer within the church community. Miller passionately advocates for transforming congregations into vibrant, prayerful communities. With profound insight and practical wisdom, this book emphasizes the necessity of a deep, authentic prayer life in every aspect of church ministry, leadership, and congregational unity. Offering a rich blend of theological foundation and real-life examples, Miller encourages churches to foster a culture of fervent prayer, fostering spiritual growth and a deeper connection with God. "A Praying Church" is a valuable resource for pastors, church leaders, and members seeking to enrich their understanding and practice of prayer in the context of the church.
