NO SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Due to our Third Sunday Summer Gathering, there will be no Sunday School. We welcome you to join us at Riverview park after the service!

THIRD SUNDAY SUMMER GATHERING
After the service on Sunday, everyone is welcome to head to Riverview Park (Riverview Park, Farrandsville Road in Lock Haven) Our church picnic will be happening under the pavilion right next to the playground and bathrooms and will have balloons on it. This gathering will include a food contest where prizes will be awarded to the best tasting appetizer, side dish and dessert! We are asking that everyone sign up if they are bringing a dish, but if you wish to be in the food contest, you can list your name in the competition box. You can sign up by clicking here! OUTDOOR BAPTISM There will be a baptism this Sunday, July 16th at Riverview Park. The baptism will happen as soon as everyone arrives at the river after church is dismissed. If you take the second entrance into the park, you can park and walk down to the river. There will be other Big Wooders who know where they are going, so follow them!

“LIVE YOUR TRUTH AND OTHER LIES” BIBLE STUDY
Women’s Ministry is continuing their summer study on Alisa Childer’s book “Live Your Truth and Other Lies: Exposing Popular Deceptions that Make Us Anxious, Exhausted, and Self Centered.” To learn more about the study, click here! The class is running every Monday evening from 6:30 – 8:00pm and Tuesday morning from 10:30am – 12:00pm (childcare provided) To sign up for the study, click here!

COLLEGE SUMMER BIBLE STUDY
This coming Tuesday, July 18th, is the last bible study night for the college students! Join them on Tuesday at 8:00pm at the Mays’ home as they study 1 Peter.

LIFE LINE SCREENING
There will be a Life Line Screening hosted at Big Woods Bible Church (241 S Hanna Street, Lock Haven) on Monday July 24, 2023, from 10:00am – 4:00pm. For more information and to sign up, click here!

PRAYER GATHERING
Join us on Wednesday, July 26th at 6:30 p.m. for our next Prayer Gathering. Our prayer gatherings will be every other Wednesday and will be one of the ways we can bear one another’s burdens as we seek to faithfully follow Jesus together.

MEN’S GARAGE MINISTRY
Our next Garage Night will be, Thursday, August 3rd at 6:00 p.m., where all men will be invited to meet at the garage of Dave Frankenberger (1930 Long Run Road, Mill Hall).  Men, grab a chair and come prepared to talk shop and tackle life’s challenges, while building on the strengths of your brothers in Christ.

WOMEN’S PRAYER MEETING
The next Ladies’ Prayer Gathering will be Saturday, August 12th, from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Come and be blessed by yet another personal story of a life saved by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Saturday prayer is an intimate time of blessing and joy…and even includes coffee and sweets!

BOOK OF THE MONTH
"Habits of Grace" by David Mathis is the July book of the month! This book breaks the spiritual disciplines down into three categories, which are word, prayer and fellowship as it takes the next step in reminding us how important it is to spend time with other people. If you are interested in reading this book or any of the others on the shelf, you can sign out the book on the sheet on the shelf or if you’d like to keep the book, you can put a suggested donation of $10 in the wooden box.
