This Week’s Need to Know – 12/08/2017

This Sunday, Bill Newman will be presenting our latest Vision 20/20 update.  There is a lot of good news to be shared about what’s happening regarding our building renovation process.  Good things have been happening in relation to both our financial status as well as the construction progress.  Bill will be sharing his update in both services.  Continue to pray for this project as it moves forward through the next few months.

Christmas Eve Service
Begin now, inviting your friends, neighbors, and coworkers to our Christmas Eve service.  It will be held on Sunday evening, December 24, at 6:00 PM.  Handouts that can be used as invitations are available at all of our entrances.

Outreach Opportunities
Tomorrow is our Happy Birthday Jesus party (click the link to sign up) and next Tuesday evening, is our LHU Midnight Pancake outreach.  Your help is needed for both!  Log onto our online directory and contact Yvonne Butville if you would like to help out with the Happy Birthday Jesus party, and contact Melissa Varholak if you would like to help with the LHU Midnight Pancake event.  We’re still in need of just add water pancake mix, syrup, candy, and individually wrapped snacks like chips and cookies for the Midnight Pancake event.  If you are able to drop that in the box this Sunday it would be greatly appreciated.  Pray that we will have opportunities to share the love of Christ and clear presentations of the Gospel at both of these events.

Lottie Moon Offering
Last Sunday, an envelope along with information was given to you for our annual Lottie Moon Offering.  All proceeds will go to support Southern Baptist Missionaries and projects around the world.  Pray, and consider what God would have you do in this special annual offering.  Simply use the envelope provided or designate your gift as Lottie Moon Offering.  Please continue to lift up our missionaries in prayer as well.
